Overview

Spectrum Operations primary mission focus is on discovery, visualization and exploitation of the RF spectrum. A key portion of the electromagnetic spectrum is the Radio Frequency (RF) radiation range where the majority of communication networks operate – including FM radio, mobile phones, wireless networks, satellite communications, and RADAR. Constant technological evolution in this portion of the spectrum creates gaps in our awareness and as a result, risk to the usage of these networks through intended and unintended interferers.
